Ash – Harlequin Lop Rabbit

  • Male
  • 2 years
  • Arrived 12th October
  • Boarded at Rode Heath

We think the photo speaks for itself as to why the two rabbits came into our care. Rescued by the RSPCA’s Inspectors, they are now in our care adapting to a new and better way of life. We’ve named our bunny boy Ash as he’s a lovely cool shade of grey.

He is a nervous bunny because of how he’s been kept and not handled, he really does need to be paired with a neutered female so he can experience life to the fullest and find happiness.  He has been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He has a slight ulcer in one eye but the vet says it’s from a minor injury and is of no concern.

Housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 10 x 4 x 3ft (height) run or a bespoke spacious set up with ideally the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment is most important!

Please read this information on suitable accommodation http://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/rabbit-housing/why-hutch-not-enough/

If you’d be interested in sharing your home with Ash, please contact our Rehoming Co-ordinator on rehoming@rspca-macclesfield.org.uk or leave a message on 01625 669620
