Belinder and Blackjack were found loose on an estate and the owners wouldn’t secure them despite them nearly getting run over and caught by dogs – so we took them in.
They are both very friendly and will come up for food and allow you to stroke them and are easily handable. They are used to children and are happy to let my one year old granddaughter feed them and they were also around children in their previous home.
They are also comfortable around dogs.
Blackjack is the more confident one out of the two and Belinder a little more shy. They are fairly small rabbits, very cute and very active. They love their food and forage and enjoy freshly picked grass, dandelion leaves and hawthorn.
They would be suitable for either a free roaming indoor home or an outdoor home with plenty of space to run about. They have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ANY APPLICATIONS IF YOU CAN NOT PROVIDE THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS
Outdoor housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed/house or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum of 60 sq. feet of secure covered floor space, normally a run and it has to be 3ft in height attached securely to the rabbit house, with ideally but not mandatory, the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment are most important!
Indoor housing requirement is a minimum of 60 square feet of floor space 24/7.
