We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our virtual adoption scheme …..

Belle is approximately 12 years old, in very good health. Blood test results good, vaccinations are up to date and she has had some dental work done, resulting in four extractions. The vet didn’t want to operate unnecessarily to check if spayed, it’s highly likely she is but we’re monitoring just in case.

Belle was one of three cats removed from a property, as abandoned . It turns out the owner was in prison and unable to make arrangements for her or the other cats in his absence.

A few words from Belle’s fosterers:

Belle is a beautiful girl, who has been in our home for three months (in that time, she has transformed from shy and wary to confident and independent).

She loves to sit in the window when the sun is out or to wander around the house. She’s very agile and you will find her in the strangest of places. We have found her on top of bookshelves and cabinets, it’s Belle looking for a safe space.

She loves company and a groom but is also quite happy on her own.

She’s not particularly fond of dogs, our dogs are used to cats and just leave her be. She tends to hiss if they come too close. So we’re looking for a dog free home (pet free in general to prevent complications).

Belle will tell you what she likes and dislikes. She will grumble when she’s unhappy with something. We have allowed her space and generally follow her lead.

Belle loves her food and especially treats; when she’s hungry she will tell you.

Belle would suit a child free home or a home with teenagers.
