Big Bob is a friendly Couch Potato! He is lovely and such a character.

Big Bob came in with his youngsters via RSPCA Inspectors. They had all been loose in the owner’s flat, breeding like rabbits; so, the mother had given birth to yet another litter; the Inspector took her and her recent litter home with her until a space was found with another branch as we were full! Unusually Bob was already neutered and microchipped which creates a mystery – unless he was neutered post-birth of the kittens but then how come there was a second new litter???

Sadly, the owner had serious mental health issues and had been in hospital for several months so the rabbits were left to their own devices. A next of kin signed the rabbits over.

Big Bob was obese upon arrival (the photo with a kitten is how big he was!) which meant he needed regular bottom washing as he couldn’t wash himself, but he has lost over 1kg so he’s getting there. He had dry scabby skin from mites which was treated.

He is now vaccinated. He can be rehomed as an indoor or outdoor rabbit to live with a neutered female or he can be adopted with one of his litter.
