Annual Charity Fair

1st June 2024 – Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, 10:30 – 4:30pm

The Rotary Club of Buxton’s Annual Summer Fair & Charity Bazaar is back in its traditional Octagon home, this year, it is expected to be bigger than ever. And WE WILL BE THERE!

It’s still free to attend and this year there’s more entertainment for youngsters. In the Octagon Hall, there will be 40 stalls from local charities and voluntary groups and along the promenade and in the gardens will be a range of food stalls, games and attractions. Features include: Buxton’s famous Billerettes, Fairfield Brass Band, High Peak Big Band and the Shakespeare Jukebox, whose actors will present bite-size excerpts from the Bard’s plays. They’ll feature witches, fairies, and a storm at sea!

Also, try your skill at archery, hockey and on the climbing wall that’s making its first appearance. The Buxton ‘Sandy Beach’ will be back with a mermaid who will need help from youngsters to complete her scales. Will she go for a swim? Who knows? See below for more activities.
