Dave – Crossbreed Rabbit

  • 4 years old
  • Male
  • Crossbreed
  • Arrived 8th October, 2020
  • Boarded at Rode Heath

Dave was signed over along with 3 cats from a really terrible environment. Dave lived in a small cage not even big enough for a hamster, his ears were flat against his head due to no room for them to be upright; rubbish and fag ends thrown on top. A dark pokey flat, urine, faeces and rubbish everywhere. The only available water bowls for the animals had animal excrement in them. Added to this there was domestic violence occurring between the two women so Dave has had an awful life.

BUT NOW Dave has a nice big pen with lots of lovely hay and clean water, food and space! He has a cataract in his left eye from a previous injury which is no of concern. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He’s currently on some cream for a patch of dermatitis.

We are amazed that he is in fact in good condition body-wise and his teeth are good too! But he was infested with fleas. He’s now ready to find his perfect match in a lady bunny to spend the rest of his life with.

Housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 10 x 4 x 3ft (height) run or a bespoke spacious set up with ideally the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment is most important!
