Update: Now in a foster home from 22nd Jan
These stunning brothers came into our care as their owner was moving into a property where animals weren’t allowed. Finn is the pointier faced cat.
They were originally from another rescue when very young; they were originally kept in a shed on a farm with no sight of the outdoors. So, for that reason, they can still have nervous reactions to certain sounds. They are both affectionate cats, Finn more so than Rey who can be the timid one. Once they get to know you, they are more confident.
They do have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (non-progressive) so need a home where they have an enclosed and secure garden so they are safe and contained, ideally flat with nothing they can climb and fall off (they do try to jump!).
This short video gives information here on how to live with cats like Finn & Rey and how to arrange the home to cater for their condition:
They apparently are not comfortable around children and need a pet free home. They are already neutered, we’ve had them microchipped and vaccinated. They are two healthy boys!
