Florence – Dwarf Lop

  • Female
  • 1 year approx
  • Arrived 12th August, 2020
  • Boarded at Rode Heath

Florence came in via the Inspectors with two other rabbits as the owner could not afford to provide food and bedding as she had too many rabbits. She was acquired via the internet as the lady felt sorry for her – she was originally purchased from a meat market, then used for breeding. We cannot imagine what she has gone through in her young life.

She’s looking for a home with a neutered male to bond with and live happily ever after! We were told she was very nervous but now she is very friendly and confident. She is ok being handled. When she sees our Merlin (cat) walking past she even wants to get his attention! Florence has been neutered and microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 10 x 4 x 3ft (height) run or a bespoke spacious set up with ideally the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment is most important!
