Best friends Gandalf and Flopsy are looking for a new indoor home together.

Their owner contacted us because she said they were just kept in a cage and not being fed as she wasn’t there for days on end while in hospital with her autistic daughter. A very sad state of affairs.

However upon arrival they were fat, especially Flopsy, no doubt due to lack of exercise but they also haven’t been short of food, unless when they have been fed it’s been a junk food diet? Flopsy also had a mucky bottom, indicative of a poor diet.

Information on indoor housing is found here. It would also be lovely for them to enjoy the outdoors on a nice day!

Unfortunately we don’t have any more information on them due to the owner not communicating with us. However, they are a friendly pair and are very close and will make someone a lovely addition to the home!

If you’d be interested in sharing your home with new companions, please contact our Rehoming Co-ordinator on rehoming@rspca-macclesfield.org.uk or leave a message on 01625 669620
