We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our virtual adoption scheme …..
Honey was originally adopted from another RSPCA branch in 2022 where she was found pregnant and had a litter who were also all adopted. Her owner has recently moved to Canada so Honey is back looking for a new home.
Honey is a calm, friendly, happy bunny who will happily come up for food and head rubs but takes a while to build confidence around new people but once she gets to know you she comes out of her shell. Like lots of rabbits she isn’t keen on being handled but will allow you to stroke her. She loves her food and will run around in circles when you approach with food!
Honey is suitable for either an indoor or outdoor home with a neutered male as a companion as Honey has sadly spent since 2022 alone. She is used to dogs and children. Honey is neutered, Microchipped and vaccinated.
WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ANY APPLICATIONS IF YOU CAN NOT PROVIDE THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS\
Outdoor housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed/house or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum of 60 sq. feet of secure covered floor space, normally a run and it has to be 3ft in height attached securely to the rabbit house, with ideally but not mandatory, the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment are most important!
Indoor housing requirement is a minimum of 60 square feet of floor space 24/7.
