Hugo – Giant Lop Cross Rabbit

  • Male
  • 3-4 years old
  • Arrived 7th March (313 days ago)
  • Log no: 1148196

Hugo came from a small property housing over 50 rabbits, being kept individually in very small cages with no hides, or enrichment. A collector of rabbits via friends, online sites etc. The risks of rehoming privately to people you don’t know…

Rabbits kept in solitary confinement is cruel and more so in these conditions! His nails needed clipping and he had urine staining.

Hugo is a large rabbit and his paperwork says he is part Flemish Giant. He has a cheeky side but is also quite soppy and loves his head being stroked.

Being an albino, he has slightly limited eyesight but that doesn’t seem to bother him. He isn’t a rabbit for children because he can panic when handled and he has extremely strong back legs!

He is looking for a wifebun to share his new life with.  He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
