Update January. Kitty is now in a foster home.

Poor Kitty, her owner passed away and there was no next of kin. She’s been in boarding since October 2019 in the hope a relative would come forward for her but alas this didn’t happen so she’s now up for rehoming.

Kitty is a very sweet, gentle lady aged about 10 years old according to neighbours, although it says 13 on her paperwork but we don’t know where that came from.

She’s been health checked, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. She just wants a quiet life with someone who will love her again.

“PLEASE DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY KITTY’S AGE SHE CAN RUN AROUND AS NIMBLY AS CATS HALF HER AGE.   Kitty has been with us now for almost two months and has settled in really well.  She has lovely soft chocolatey brown/black fur with a small smudge of white on her chest.  Kitty simply adores company and loves nothing better than being close to you, either sat on your lap or lay near to you.  She will gently pat you with her paw if she wants attention and loves lots of stroking and tickling under her chin.  Kitty likes to sleep on my bed at night and when she gets a little chilly she snuggles up close to me to draw off some of my body heat!!  She loves to play with an assortment of cat toys especially at night time (as she has usually slept away most of the daytime hours, typical feline!).  Her favourite cuddly cat toy she fetches upstairs on most occasions to my bedroom and leaves it as a gift.  She does talk to this particular toy which is so endearing.  Kitty has had no issues with the litter tray.  She can be vocal when she wants something or simply just to talk to you.  She does enjoy her food and was a bit overweight when she came to me (I think her previous owner treated her a little too often thus giving her a little middle-aged spread!) But after taking advice from our Vet she has had her food intake reduced and is happily losing weight to a more acceptable level for her future health.  Kitty is a beautiful girl full of character and with a lovely nature.  All this lovely girl needs is a forever home that is quiet, safe, warm and where she can get as much attention as she seeks.  If you tick all these boxes please do get in touch to come and meet her, I am certain you will fall in love with her.”
