Marshmallow & Ginger – Polish & Mini Lop Rabbits

  • Polish and Mini Lop
  • Female and male
  • 2 years old
  • Arrived 9th August 2021
  • Fostered in Chapel en le Frith

This delightful pair of bunnies were networked from another branch who are, sadly, struggling financially and having to reduce numbers.

They have come from a home of multiple rabbits; they have never been handled until they came into RSPCA care. At the centre, where they first spent time, they did learn to trust, they became increasingly curious of the staff looking after them and would investigate; they became quite comfortable in their presence.

They do not like being picked up and would not suit a home with children although, at a push, they could be rehomed with understanding gentle children of secondary age or older. Also, a home with no other pets is a must. They are currently in an outdoor set up. They are timid in nature but are both very sweet and endearing.

WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY APPLICATIONS IF YOU CAN NOT PROVIDE THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS

Housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch plus minimum 60 sq. feet of floor space. If a run it has to be 3ft in height with ideally the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment is most important!

Please read this information on suitable accommodation http://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/rabbit-housing/why-hutch-not-enough/
