Misty was a great mum to her two kittens. Now her kittens are happy in their new home it’s time for Misty to find a family to call her own. Misty enjoys human company and will happily follow you around to see what you are up to. Although Misty has lived with other cats before she does prefer to be the sole cat receiving all the love and attention. She has a playful side but at just over 4 years old Misty also appreciates the joys of a warm bed or cosy blanket. Misty would suit a home where someone will be around to keep her company and allow her time to settle into family life once again
Story: Misty, we believe, was an indoor cat. However, since March (before arriving in RSPCA care) she’d been outdoors to fend for herself and became pregnant. Sadly her owner passed away and there was no next of kin. So the cats were let out of the property . Upon arrival she was heavily pregnant and gave birth in her foster home to three kittens, sadly one was stillborn which was extremely upsetting.
Misty has been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Post weaning she had a swollen tummy and mastitis for which she has been treated. She’s on the mend now.
