Stanley was brought to the RSPCA’s animal hospital in Manchester by an Inspector. He had a horrendous collar injury: the collar was embedded in his neck and under his arm; it was also infected. It was surgically removed, flushed out and treated.

He then came into our care but had to visit our vet to have the wound re-sutured as it had come open.  He also had a tick removed from his head.

Stanely is now ready to find his lovely new home! He has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

He is very friendly once he gets to know you. But it’s taken him a long time to even want to be stroked which is not surprising. He does need an adult only home with no pets to help him feel at ease. He now rolls, purrs and plays and would make a lovely pet!
