Introducing Thumper …. mistreated and persecuted as a kitten, Thumper was ‘adopted’ by one of the neighbours when his family from hell left town.
At his new home, Thumper was living in the greenhouse by day and patrolling his territory by night. Unfortunately, his new keeper, now in her mid-80’s, became worried about her own safety trapesing up and down the garden to feed him and asked for help.
Living on his wits but far from feral, Thumper, is a very nervous fella but his confidence is gaining daily. He has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, has received an extensive dental and has been treated for parasites, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
Thumper is ready to find his new home and a new adventure!
Thumper will be friendly once he gets to know you and, like the best garden warriors, will have tons of character. But, be patient, it’s taken him over a month to regain just a bit of his mojo but each day his fosterer sees a little more progress.
He will benefit from a quiet, adult only home – his keeper said he seemed friendly towards other female cats so this could be an option but ideally a cat and dog free home would be perfect. He does now roll, knead and purrs for England and would make a lovely companion for the right owner! Thumper has really mastered the art of head bumps too!
If you’d be interested in sharing your home with a new companion, please contact our Feral Cats Co-ordinator on firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message on 07403 720844 – road and lifestyle checks will apply to try and make sure we get a lifetime match.
