We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our
virtual adoption scheme …..
Bobby is a very gentle and friendly older chap. He will happily hop over to say hello and enjoys your company. At about seven years old, he is looking for a quieter life now with a similar sized doe. He is a French Lop so is a larger bun at 3.5kg! He has a few old bite scars on his ears so has obviously been through the wars in his previous home. When he went into the vets for neutering, the vet found that his hips were rather arthritic so he has since been on Meloxicam twice daily and is feeling much more comfortable now. He is a star having his medication and will take it from the syringe like it’s a treat! This is something he will need long term.
Bobby came in via RSPCA Inspectors from a multi animal house; dogs and cats running around with him all loose, we’re not sure how he survived. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
He needs an indoor home and requires a minimum of 60 square feet ground floor space to live in 24/7 with plenty of enrichment including a dig box and shelters. We would consider an outdoor home but it would need to be a shed set up as opposed to hutch so he’ll feel more secure and protected from the elements.
