Will you help animals in need?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable volunteer to manage and grow our eBay fundraising shop, turning donated items into vital funds for the branch.
Our local RSPCA branch is run entirely by volunteers and relies on community support to care for animals in need across our area. Every pound raised through our eBay shop helps directly the animals.
✅ What you’ll do:
- Take overall responsibility for managing and developing our eBay shop
- Source and store appropriate donated items, working with the team to promote donation adverts (both printed and on social media)
- Create engaging listings, including clear descriptions and quality photographs
- Research items value to maximise fundraising potential
- Package and post sold items
- Provide excellent customer service to buyers
✅ The skills you need:
- Confidence using eBay
- Has an eye for detail and enjoys researching information about items
- Space to store donated items
- Good communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service
- Work independently and take initiative
- Ideally located within the branch’s local area
