The story of Sophie (mum) and Phoenix (kitten) is one of triumph over adversity.
Sophie came into RSPCA care with her tiny one day old kitten Phoenix; when Phoenix was ten days old, they came to one of our lovely foster homes. Multiple cats were extremely neglected in all ways, flea infestation the worst the vet has seen in her entire career, sadly one had to be euthanised. Phoenix’s siblings had already passed away before they were a day old.
Phoenix – if ever a kitten lives up to and owns his name its little Phoenix. He has triumphed over adversity from the very beginning and like a Phoenix has risen strong. This little boy is 100% a ball of mischief but, oh wow, does he know his own mind! He knows exactly what he likes and what he doesn’t. His absolute favourite thing is a ball – he will chase a ball for ages unless he sees an opportunity to wind others up with his mischief which he will do with vigour! He is a bundle of joy that will make you laugh out loud every day. He is great with other cats as long as they can handle his fun and games that is!
Phoenix would like a new brother or sister of a similar age that he can get into all sorts of scrapes with. When the day is done, and there is no more mischief to be had, Phoenix will happily curl up on your lap or on the end of the bed for a well-earned snooze. A home without dogs (dogs barking outside scares him!) adult cats and small children is ideal, someone around a lot to keep an eye on him too. He will be neutered at 4-5 months of age, we will cover the cost if done post adoption.
