We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our virtual adoption scheme …..

Percy was born in RSPCA care, after his parents were rescued by the RSPCA after being found living with 15 other guinea pigs in dirty conditions with no water. Tragically a guinea pig died just after being rescued. Percy’s sister and mother were adopted together but, due to his desire to want to mate, we had to separate him! He has since been neutered and, now it’s been a few weeks, he is now ready to find a new, loving home with females..

Fosterer’s update:

Percy is a lovely, little guinea pig. He’s still young but has become very tame and easy to handle. He enjoys sitting on your knee, where he relaxes and purrs very loudly. When he’s in his run, he can be very active —popcorning and racing through tunnels—but he also enjoys sitting in boxes of hay. He would make a wonderful pet for the right home.

Male guinea pigs require a MINIMUM 6 X 2 foot indoor C and C Enclosure. The more space the better!
