We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our
virtual adoption scheme …..
Holly (white and black) and Isla (brown) are two adorable lionhead sisters. They are inseparable and love doing everything together. Holly is the pioneer and escape artist! She’s curious and she’ll try everything first, then if it’s safe Isla will follow. Isla is a sweetie and will melt anyone’s heart. They are stunningly beautiful rabbits – Holly has ice blue eyes and Isla is so pretty. They both like having their heads and faces stroked, and enjoy an ear tickle or two. You can often find them playing in and out of their cardboard box, stretching out together or munching away on some tasty hay. Both are litter trained and are good hay eaters.
HISTORY January 2023 : These girls came into RSPCA care when their owner decided they couldn’t give them what they needed. They were free roaming unsupervised in a garden full of dog poo (see picture below).
The owner told us they were bucks. But upon their health checks it was established they were does. They have been vaccinated, chipped and neutered (the vet couldn’t actually find a uterus in Isla which is extremely rare: the vet suggested she had already been neutered which didn’t make sense; we were advised to not bother putting Holly under GA because she was likely to be neutered but we had to be sure; we’re now glad we went forward with the op!)
2023 : ADOPTED.
2026 : Sadly returned due to a change of circumstances..
