We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our
virtual adoption scheme …..
Rescued by their fosterer from poor conditions and abandoned, she contacted our branch for help, she offered to foster them as there was nowhere for them to go. There really are some very caring people out there!
Smudge, Cleo, Freddie and Noddy are 10 weeks old (as of early July). Mum (Quinn) and Dad (Lando) came into foster care heavily pregnant and the kittens were born in my home, so I’ve been able to watch them grow from day one.
All four kittens are very bonded and play together beautifully. They spend most of their day chasing each other around, wrestling and then crashing out together.
They have been raised with both mum and dad cat present and are used to normal household noises and activity. They have been handled regularly since birth and are very people-orientated.
All kittens are eating independently and enjoy wet and dry food, although wet food is definitely the favourite.
- Smudge is probably the most confident and adventurous of the litter. She’s usually first to investigate anything new and absolutely loves feather wands and springs.
- Cleo is the most affectionate. She likes to be close to people and often settles nearby for comfort and company.
- Freddie is a confident little boy and has been the quickest to pick up litter tray training. He’s playful but quite sensible compared to some of the others. Enjoys playing with his siblings, especially Noddy.
- Noddy is fiercely independent and likes doing things his own way. He’s confident and playful and has really come out of his shell as he’s got older. He started life with a severe head tilt which affected his balance, seen by several vets, it’s something that’s completely cleared up as he’s matured.
Freddie and Cleo are using the litter trays consistently. Smudge and Noddy are improving but still occasionally need a little guidance as they are learning.
The biggest thing I’d say is that they are happy, playful, confident kittens who have had lots of interaction and socialisation from a very young age.
They’re looking for a pet free home for a pet free home and would suit any household, all we ask is that they’re not left for long periods of time. They will be neutered at our cost between 4-5 months of age which is mandatory. They have been vaccinated, wormed and flead.
