We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our
virtual adoption scheme …..
Here are Ginger and Biscuit. Both cats seem to be thriving and we are not aware of any health concerns. They came in via the RSPCA Inspectors after a suspected abandonment. Eventually the owner was traced and both signed over; she had been unable to return to property due to violence. They are related and, as far as we know, have been together since Biscuit was born.
Biscuit is very confident and affectionate once she gets to know you. She can be a little mischievous at times; she loves to play and explore. Ginger can be a bit more timid but he has grown in confidence during his time with us and has a lovely nature. He doesn’t often sit on someone’s lap but we get lots of head bumps and purrs. He also likes perching on your shoulders from time to time!
Both cats have lots of energy and would benefit from a home with space to run around and toys to play with. Biscuit and Ginger seem to have a close bond and enjoy playing together. The play can get a bit rough and there is the occasional squabble. Sometimes you’ll find them curled up together and then they act up!
As they are being fostered, both cats are being kept indoors for now. They would be very keen to spend some time outside when they find their forever owners. Both cats are being fostered in a home with a nine-year-old child who loves giving them lots of attention. They have not lived with other animals so a pet free home is best.
If you are looking for a pair of friendly and good-natured cats to be a new addition to your family – Ginger and Biscuit might be the perfect fit!
We still have the odd incident where Biscuit decides not to use the litter tray but that’s being worked on. They have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated
